It is no secret that kids laugh much more than adults. I suppose we feel like we need to be grownups, but that does not mean we should stop laughing. Laughter is good for the soul. I think Michael Pritchard hit the nail on the head with this quote:
You don’t stop laughing because you grow old. You grow old because you stop laughing.
The truth is, however, that raising children can be stressful. It is not always smooth sailing, especially when those dear kids are pushing all of your buttons at once. Sometimes, laughter does not come easily, but we have found that a laugh or two works wonders to ease tension, diffuse anger, and make hard situations more manageable.
