For as long as I can remember, I have loved spending time in the kitchen. It is a form of therapy for me to chop vegetables and create delicious meals out of seemingly boring ingredients. But, even more than therapy, food is about connection, tradition, and creating memories.
Today I am excited to introduce you to my dear friend, Bobbi Wood. She and I go way back to the days when our husbands were in dental school/residency together. Today, they have practices right next door to each other, and Bobbi and I are practically sisters.
A few years ago, she and I decided to take a six-month-long French cooking class together. Every Friday, we would meet at the Park-n-Ride and carpool to Scottsdale to learn how to cook with loads of butter, cream, and wine. While neither of us cooks that way often, it was so much fun to learn the techniques together. After our experience, we almost started a food blog together, but it never quite came together. I am not ruling that out entirely, however! Perhaps, we have a future together in the food industry.
In this episode, we discuss all things food: how food has shaped our stories, our favorite family recipes, how we incorporate food into our family traditions, apps that keep us organized, must-have kitchen tools, go-to recipe sources for trying new things, and so much more.
